Feds Approve Wisconsin Medicaid Cuts

The state of Wisconsin will remove 17,000 people from its Medicaid rolls and increase premiums for some current Medicaid recipients under a plan approved by the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

The state also is seeking federal permission to move 300,000 people into a lower-cost health plan with fewer benefits.
